Jakob Sonnek is a classical guitarist
Jakob Sonnek has his bachelor's degree from the University of Music in Malmö with an exchange year at the University of California Santa Cruz, where he graduated with honors.
Jakob Sonnek has also studied at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music where he completed his Master's of Music degree and Professional Studies Diploma.
Jakob Sonnek has recently finished his diploma studies at the Academy of Music in Stockholm
Jakob Sonnek Jakob has been awarded numerous prizes such as the Matthew Wynbrant Guitar Award, 2nd place in the SFCM Concerto Competition, 3rd place in the Gohar and Ovanes Andriassian Classical Guitar Competition and has been awarded scholarships from, among others, the Royal Academy of Music, Prince Carl Gustaf's Foundation, the Royal Academy of Music and the Ebba and Birgit Janssons fund for young promising musicians.

Jakob Sonnek has performed as a soloist and in an ensemble around the USA, Spain, Germany and Sweden and is now active as a musician in Stockholm.
